We’re happy to announce that you can now add multiple email addresses to receive information at. You can have up to three email addresses listed for every location. Adding more email addresses will NOT modify the main email address used to access the portal.

We are happy to inform you that a new feature is now available on our portal, allowing you to save time when responding to the requests of information about your courses.

By activating this new feature you will be able to define the maximum distance between your training centre location/s and the requesting user’s location.

The request is sent to you only if it is from a user within the maximum distance you set. Otherwise, if the request is from the user beyond the maximum distance set, you will not receive it. The user will be informed that the request has not been forwarded to your company.

You can change the distance setting, disabling or enabling this option at any time.

We have developed a new version of our portal suitable for any Mobile device, which will let you find the course you are looking for in an easier way.

Recently, CourseForMe introduced the new field called “Short description” for all the courses. Let’s have a look in detail to what it is useful for and how it can be used to increase the number of requests.

The new field “Short description” is a short text, whose maximum size is of 200 characters describing the main features of the courses. Its content is passed to the search engine, in order to be used in the results of the search.

The words chosen by the users in the search engine (or those having a similar meaning) which will be found in the description of your course will be shown in bold.

In the results of the search engine, the content of this field will be placed right below the title of the page (highlighted in the image).

Inserting in the “Short description” field meaningful sentences corresponding to what appears in the search, increases the chances of receiving requests because the course will be more visible.

An eye catching sentence or one well structured matching the webpage of your course will lead to more accesses compared to the course pages of your competitors, even if they have a better position in the search results.

The search engine can choose to use the sentence suggested by CourseForMe or another text, that is why it is important to write well structured sentences, rather than a list of keywords.

The content of the field “Short description” is not used by the search engine for the page ranking, but it can contain something that might boost the click.

We suggest you to add the information in this new field as soon as possible. You only need to follow the procedure to edit a course.

But what are the RSS?

For the most expert users, first of all they are the (acronym of Really Simple Syndacation), which is a system based on a standard language XML for the distribution of contents.

For those who have a conflicting relationship with technology, we can say that it is a tool allowing to easily link the contents of one or more websites, simply join them in a click and display the updates also outside the browser every time they are updated.

How to do it?

1. Install on your computer an RSS feed aggregator or an RSS reader. Many of them are free, such as sharpreader, feedreader, sage...
2. add the RSS feed address to the list of those you want to monitor by clicking the right button of the mouse on the button on the content that you want to follow on CourseForMe ( e.g. a course category) and paste the link;

I would like to inform you that we are completing an important change to the structure of our website, in order to improve its indexing by the most important search engine.

The change will be effective by the end of next week. The first increase of the number of contacts from the browsers is not expected before the end of November.

Thanks to you your suggestions we are also changing or adding some functions to our portal. For example, soon it will be possible to define the maximum distance from your training centre to which accept the request of information from the users.

We are also realising two new important sections of our portal: one for the teachers and the other reserved to the online tests for your students, in order to assess the level of learning. We don’t know yet when exactly these sections will be online, but we will be attentive to promptly update you on the status of their realization.

As a reward to your effective cooperation, from the 1^st July we activated a new listing of the courses within the different categories.Put our logo on your website and your courses will have the priority compared to the others.
